Q&A : GITA application – Validation Letter

One of our customers received “Validation Letter” from Greentech Malaysia after submitting the application form. We assist to coordinate with Greentech to have better understanding about what achtions should be taken by customer.

 

Here we listed down all the questions and answers we recieved:

What kind of documents should be prepared for validation letter?

Referring to the validation letter, company must submit information after 1 year including economy and environment parameter for our monitoring records. Hence, kindly submit a report which include information of daily power usage of the equipment in kWh using data logger for 7 days for the equipment, or sufficient for 1 day if the production is running 24hours/7days (same trend every day from Sunday to Saturday). Other option, company may submit instantaneous reading every hour for 24 hours at the incoming/outgoing of the equipment using multimeter (reading voltage and current). Also please summarise the result using the following table:

Supplier should provide me a soft copy of MyHIJAU certificate?

Yes. Softcopy from supplier is sufficient. Kindly attached together a copy of valid Myhijau certificate along with your application form.

Is electricity usage shown in TNB bills can be used for GHG emission calculation?

Yes. If you provide the information as shown in table above is sufficient for us to verify on the CO2 emission.
